Title: Modules not Working after being Enabled
Post by: Greed on January 20, 2015, 09:33:30 PM
Hi All, big fan of this project and really appreciative of what a fantastic job Vorspire has done creating and developing it. Thanks so much for everything you do for the UO community Vorspire! That being said, I do have a quick question though. When I go in-game and type [vnc, click on Modules, and then enable any of those modules only some of them seem to work. For example, Spell Cast Bars causes my client to freeze. So then of course I'm wondering what am I doing wrong? The server itself doesn't crash and I am using a fresh install of the latest version of JustUO from PlayUO.org as well. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks~

*Edit*
Only the following are not working after being enabled:
-Spell Cast Bars
-World Chat

Edited the original post a great deal for better clarity.

Sorry for so many posts just want to be thorough. That being said this is the last post I promise.

This is the message that is displayed in the server's window when a client using a cast bar freezes up:

That Module is temperamental between different versions of the client, you're not missing much though, it was mostly a prototype. I'll see about updating it in future.

Turns out it was just a tree hack on my client messing things up. Sorry for the trouble!  :P

How do you do the world, staff, guild, and regular chat?

How do you do the world, staff, guild, and regular chat?

I realize you may have already figured this out, but the prefix for the channels is usually the first letter of the channel. And for chat itself, the prefix is ";".
So, to chat in the world channel, you would write like this: ";w Hello world." (Without the quotes).
